There is a sense of powerlessness expressed by some in the Church… often, displayed in such rhetorical expressions as "Just another sign of the times." Words, span more than the physical realm of man… they, reach deep into the spirit of man and transform worlds.
We are not to be overwhelmed by the world… the physical, emotional and psychological events in the earth. We are too overcome the world by the blood of Jesus Christ and the WORDS of OUR TESTIMONY… Therefore, let our words be yeah and amen; when ever, a sense of powerless enters… Give no occasion for the enemy too rejoice over our condition… Rather, rejoice in whatever state ye may be found.
The Church is commanded to submit unto God and RESIST THE DEVIL… that the devil may flee. Capitulation, assimilation, or passive acceptance of the worlds conditions as JUST ANTOHER… sign of the times, only leads to an accelerated state of despair and apostasy. We are to overcome evil with the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith… too, tread upon scorpions and snakes. We are not given a spirit of powerlessness… But, of might and power in the Lord.
It is time for the Church to put on the full armor of God… too, make ready for battle. For, surely the time is upon us when the Lord shall come with His Armies too make His enemies His foot stool. We are the soldiers of God… we don’t faint in battle nor do we cower before the enemy or the circumstances in the world. If God be for us who can be against us.
Let us rally to the cry of the Lord of Host… for it is He who has given us the victory. The battle is His and the victory ours… when, we rest in Christ. Let us therefore, submit ourselves unto God and resist the devil… the world, and all it offers. For, we are made overcomer’s, by the Blood of the Lamb, and the words of our testimony, despising the flesh and the things of the flesh… even unto death.
Rejoice, too see events in scripture unfold… despair not! Rather, cry out glory be to God now and forever! For, we are the Children of the Most High God… A chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an Holy nation, a Peculiar people; that we should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Be encouraged, be exhalted… be strong in the might and power of the Lord. Especially, as ye see the days grow short… That, ye may overcome the world, even as He overcame!
