The wicked boasteh of his heart’s desire… and counts his blessings in worldly returns. Shall the righteous measure success, by the standards of mankind, in the things of this world?
For, the Kingdom of God is not meat nor drink… the things of this world… but righteousness, peace and joy. Where there is envy, strife and bitterness there is no righteousness, peace or joy.
God causes it to rain both upon the just and the unjust… that the blessing may be upon the righteous. For, it is the righteous of the earth that preserve the unjust.
Those who are carnal look upon the flesh as the measure of thier righteousness and success. While, the poor in spirit and the faithful in God… look in faith to their reward in the Spirit. For what profit it a man if he gain the whole world and loose his soul.
Beware, how you judge the work of others… for the eye of the flesh is full of deciet, confounding the wise. What appears as bounty and treasure in the eye of man… may well be corruption of the soul.
How then shall we know the righteous… by the fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith… meekness, temperance for againt these there is no law. For they are of Christ who have crucified the flesh and are dead to the things of this world.
Your Brother in Christ;
